ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

Following the last nine successful workshops/conferences in Malaysia (2008), Singapore (2009), P.R. China (2010), Iran (2011), Thailand (2012), Singapore (2013), Nepal (2014) Iran (2015) and Malaysia (2016), Walailak University, Thailand is proud to host, in collaboration with AAAPT, the 10th International Conference on Plasma Science and Applications (ICPSA 2017) from 10th – 12th October 2017. The 3-day conference will be held at Walailak University, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Southern Thailand. It is about 750 km south of Bangkok, on the east coast of the Malay Peninsula and as well as being an historic city is home to many white sandy beaches.

ICPSA 2017 will emphasize plasma focus and fusion plasmas, plasma agriculture, plasmas for medical and environmental applications, industrial plasmas and fundamentals of plasmas. ICPSA2017 aims to provide a platform for extensive and in-depth discussions and to create new opportunities for collaborations among individuals working in various fields of plasma science.

The conference is planned as a medium-scale expert meeting with open participation to early-career researchers and students.
